Electric mobility protocol ENI Renault
Eni and Renault-Nissan signed an agreement protocol to explore possible cooperation on electric mobility in Italy. Under the agreement the two companies will collaborate to define the general principles of a possible partnership on the introduction of charging stations for electric cars at service stations. In particular, the partnership aims to analyze the steps necessary to introduce into traditional systems of service stations charging standard and fast recharging of lithium batteries, and the system proposed by the French company based on replacing the battery with a charge that allow the electric vehicle to spread after a few minutes. The agreement is another step forward on the development of zero-emission mobility, in addition to power companies and automakers, also began to engage in traditional fuel distribution. The protocol was signed by Eni's Refining & Marketing, the leading refining and distribution in Italy with about 4500 stations, and the automotive group Renault-Nissan. 12 / 10 / 2011
