Kangoo ZE Electric Production
Kangoo ZE enters into the actual stage production plant in Maubeuge. The first french electric car will be launched in October 2011 but the production on an assembly line has started officially in July. Over the past 12 months, the french company has already produced in the plant in Maubeuge about 350 pre-series models to serve the development of pilot projects for electric mobility. The plant in Maubeuge is only the first industrial site to start production of electric motors Renault. In the period 2013-2014 will be open other assembly plant in Flins and Cleon. About 80% of new electric vehicles Renault will be manufactured in France. In France the sale of electric car benefit from government incentives, amounting to 5 000 euros, that will bring down the selling price of Kangoo ZE from 15 000 euros (VAT excluded). 12 / 09 / 2011
